Methods: We translate to English Regin 50 (Russia) backbone list. Use this list for info about echotag, echo subgect, name and address of moderator. You can get any echo from the list if you want, see BACKSTAT.WW file in official WWB fileecho for current zone 2 Region 50 (Russia) WWB coordinator (now Andrey Podkolzin 2:5030/115 mdh@sut.ru). Most of listed echoes are present in Internet news, for example at www.dejanews.com (http) or ddt.demos.su (nntp), in fido7* hierarchy.
Russian echoes usage guidelines: Rules of most Russian echoes permits of English language; so you can write you messages in English or in transliteration form (English characters - Russian words). For read Russian messages use CP 866 (standard Russian encoding for DOS,OS/2,DOS box under Windows). All gated Russian-coded messages (ForEx, from www.dejanews.com) have KOI8 encoding (CP 878, standard Russian encoding for Unix).
